About Arielle Coburn

I’m an Advanced Practice Nurse with over a decade of experience working across a range of healthcare settings. Much of my background is in cardiology and complex medical care, where I’ve supported patients navigating multiple diagnoses, providers, and evolving treatment plans.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Binghamton University and my Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University, where I became credentialed as a Family Nurse Practitioner. My training and clinical experience have given me a strong understanding of both the medical and practical sides of patient care.

My perspective on healthcare was also shaped on a personal level while helping my own family through a difficult cancer diagnosis. Going through that process showed me how overwhelming the system can be, even when you’re trying to do everything right. It reinforced how important it is to have someone paying close attention, asking the right questions, and making sure nothing gets overlooked.

Situations That Often Require a Patient Advocate

Care becomes overwhelming as more providers, appointments, and decisions pile on. Families often reach out during hospital stays, after a new diagnosis, or when managing ongoing care starts to feel difficult to keep organized.
